Gas Separation membranes

The creation of hyperthin polymeric membranes that are capable of separating CO2 from N2 i.e. separation of CO2 from flue gas. The major components of flue gas are CO2, N2 and small about of water vapor. Polyelectrolyte multilayers (PEMs) are used for the preparation of hyperthin membranes (<30 nm). The layer-by-layer assembly chemistry are used for the preparation of PEMs.
